Houston – The heat warning in effect since last week has been updated to an overheat warning. Tomorrow the heat index value will exceed 112°. Its effects are also longer, lasting until 10pm on Tuesday. I expect the high to reach 102°, which will be the hottest day of the year. On Monday we climbed to 101°! That makes Monday the hottest day so far this year. So far this year we have reached 100° five times.
