Concerns Grow as New Caney Mother Seeks Answers on Missing Son in Houston

Cindy Splater, a mother from New Caney, Texas, is facing every parent’s worst nightmare as she tries to uncover the mysterious disappearance of her son, Robert Bond. The 40-year-old man has been missing for almost two months, leaving his mother worried and suspicious.

Unanswered Calls and Disconnected Lines

Despite numerous attempts to reach out to her son, Cindy Splater has been met with silence. She recounts how her son did not answer the phone, and after a few days, it seemed like his phone was turned off, leading to voicemail every time she called. The line is now disconnected, further deepening her concerns.

A Mother’s Desperate Search

Robert Bond moved to Houston in May to live with acquaintances, but after a confrontation, he reportedly left their residence. Conflicting accounts of his departure have only added to the confusion surrounding his disappearance. With no news about her son, Splater took matters into her own hands and filed a missing persons report with the Houston Police Department on June 22nd.

Seeking Help and Answers

As the search for Robert Bond continues, a missing persons advocate, Wendy Abramson, expressed concerns about the lack of clues and information regarding his whereabouts. With the assistance of Priority 1 Search and Recovery, more efforts are being made to locate Bond, including hiring a private investigator to advance the case.

Despite Bond’s troubled past involving run-ins with the law, his mother remains determined to find him. She pleads for anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the HPD Missing Persons Unit at 832-394-1840.

As the search for Robert Bond intensifies, his mother, Cindy Splater, remains hopeful that answers will surface, and her son will be found safe. Bond was last seen on Sage Road near Woodway Avenue, and any leads or information could help bring him back home.
