Breaking News: Burglary Turned Deadly Shooting in Southwest Houston
Authorities in Houston are currently investigating a burglary that escalated into a deadly shooting late Friday night in the southwest part of the city. The incident took place in the 10600 block of Beechnut around 11:25 p.m.

According to Houston Police Department Lt. Riley, a woman called the police reporting that about four or five men were outside her home with rifles, banging on her door. The situation quickly escalated when the men forced their way into the woman’s home, resulting in a gunfight between the suspects and the occupants inside.
Fortunately, no one inside the home was injured during the exchange of gunfire. However, one of the suspects sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head and was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
