Discount Offer on Frozen Foods at HEB Stores in Houston
From now until July 21st, HEB stores in Houston and surrounding areas are extending a generous discount of 10% on all frozen foods, including ice. This initiative comes as a response to the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, aiming to provide some relief to communities affected by the recent storm.
Supporting Communities in Need
HEB is dedicated to standing by its communities during times of crisis. Recognizing the challenges faced by Texans in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, especially those in Houston and the Gulf Coast region, HEB is stepping up to offer support. The discount on frozen foods will assist those who have been without power for several days, helping them restock their refrigerators as they work towards normalcy.
Additionally, the discount is automatically applied at checkout in HEB stores in select locations, including Bay City, El Campo, Edna, Wharton, the Golden Triangle, East Texas, and Bryan-College Station-Brenham areas.
Community Relief Efforts
Aside from the discount offer, HEB is actively involved in providing support to nonprofits and areas in Houston impacted by the recent storms. The grocery chain is distributing essential supplies such as cooling centers, water, snacks, and ice. Moreover, HEB has donated eight truckloads of ice to aid the recovery efforts in Houston.
In severely affected areas like Sargent, HEB has deployed mobile kitchens to serve hot meals to residents and first responders. They have also dispatched water and ice trailers to assist in rescue operations around Matagorda Bay.
A Helping Hand in Times of Crisis
HEB’s commitment to supporting its communities shines through its actions following Hurricane Beryl. By offering discounts on frozen foods and actively participating in relief efforts, HEB is demonstrating solidarity with those in need during challenging times. This initiative serves as a reminder of the importance of community support and unity in the face of adversity.
