Thaddeus Tolbert, a 31-year-old therapist in Houston, has been charged with aggravated assault after his patient reported that he strangled her multiple times and hit her in the face with a gun. The disturbing incident took place on April 29, according to court documents.

The patient revealed to the police that she visited Tolbert’s office on the mentioned day to end their relationship after discovering that he was married with children.
