Car Repair and Maintenance Costs: Tesla Recalls 1.8 Million Vehicles
Overview of Tesla’s Vehicle Recall
Tesla recently issued a recall for more than 1.8 million vehicles due to a hood failure issue. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported that latch assemblies in certain Tesla models may fail to detect when the hood is open, posing a safety risk to drivers. The affected models include the 2021-2024 Model 3, Model S, Model X, and Model Y. Despite the recall, the company has not received any reports of crashes, injuries, or fatalities related to this issue.
