Missing West College Man Found in San Antonio Faces Federal Charges
Multiple agencies collaborated in the extensive search for Brett Detamore, a West College man who went missing last June. If convicted, Detamore could face up to 20 years in federal prison, a fine of $250,000, and full restitution to the victims. He is scheduled to appear in court on August 12.

The West American Police Department revealed that surveillance cameras captured Detamore’s truck leaving his neighborhood early in the morning on June 21, 2023. His wife reported him missing hours later, and his burned truck was found in Bear Creek Park, about 20 miles away.
